Vendor Map

Vendors, enter from Mountain City to MURRAY WAY, right turn only. Tell the traffic directors that you are a vendor and they’ll direct you to the gate. Once inside the gate, turn left at the first road and find your spot.

Food trucks can drive directly to the parking lot as shown.

Vendor vehicles will be parked along the fence are area 2 after setup.

SkyFair Parking Map

For general parking: From mountain City Highway, turn onto either Terminal Way or Aspen Way, then onto Thomas Gallagher Way and enter at the gate. Personnel will be on site to direct you. If parking is full you can find a spot on the street nearby.

For handicapped or Elderly parking: We have a drop-off area on Murray Way. From Mountain City Highway, turn RIGHT onto Murray Way. After dropping your passengers can exit RIGHT onto Mountain City, or park in the dirt lot as space allows.

If you are walking in to the venue you may enter near the El Aero building.

  • 06:00 – Early setup for vendors (previous day setup may be available on request)
  • 07:00 – FREE Balloon rides for early morning attendees! Come early and get in line! Look for the big balloon.
  • 08:00 Skyfair officially begins
  • 08:00 Civil Air Patrol Fundraiser Breakfast
  • 09:00 Opening ceremonies (civil air patrol color guard and Ruby Mountain voices) 
  • 09:30 Flight Simulator Open
  • 10:00 Sheriff Drone Demo
  • 11:00-11:30 History of Aviation in Elko (Museum presentation in Mountain West Hangar)
  • 12:30 Platinum lottery draw, at N555PP (MUST be present to win)
  • 13:00 Gold lottery draw, at N172WE (MUST be present to win) 
  • 13:00-13:30 History of Aviation in Elko (Museum presentation in Mountain West Hangar)
  • 13:30-14:30 Elko Fire Dept ARFF truck demonstration 
  • 14:30-15:00 Sheriff Drone Demo
  • 15:00 Start packing up and closing down 
  • 16:00 Officially close gates to the public

Northeastern Nevada Museum will be presenting a 30 minute History of Aviation, telling the story of flight from the first aircraft to be seen in Elko to the days of Casino Express.  This program will tell the story of the beginning of the airport and will include some visits by some famous pilots.  You will even hear about the “Flying Sheriff of Elko County”!

This will be a ‘SECOND SATURDAY’ activity.
